Looking to settle down

Yes, there is my envy of those in a long-term relationship while I am currently involved in a less than ideal relationship with point and shoot quickies. But, it will eventually change. Being loathe to be rid of the lenses I already have, it will probably be a Pentax body as I have the requisite mount also and that body is built for shake reduction...or else an improved point and shoot . In the meantime, I am taking my time evaluating the tradeoff.
