Reason to be Proud

Today is the 141st birthday of Canada. The image I have put up was taken this Sunday past, during the Gay Pride parade. Some may instinctively disagree with the association between the context of this image and their desired, perceived image of the country but, I beg to differ. The uploaded image should be seen in a broader context, regardless of the circumstances under which it was taken, as a reminder of this country's tremendous capacity for social tolerance which, ultimately, is what's needed to keep the country together - and not the dogma of political ideology.
